Demographic Profile:-

(a) Population and Number of Households:-

Gudia Khera is a village in Sirsa district, with total 733 families residing in it. The Gudia Khera village has population of 4,030 of which 2,109 are males while 1,921 are females as per Census, 2011. In the village, the population of children with age 0-6 is 450 which make up 11.17 % of total population of village. Schedule Caste (SC) constitutes 16.18 % of total population in Gudia Khera village. Maximum of the population of the village belongs to Jat caste. (b) Settlement Pattern:-

The settlement pattern of the village comprises two types- the inhabitants living in the main periphery of the village and the inhabitants living in Dhanis (settlements constructed in the agriculture land). As per the baseline survey data there are 60 households are living in Dhanis, whereas 737 households are living in the main periphery of the village.

(c) Sex Ratio:-

Sex Ratio of Gudia Khera village is 911 which are higher than state average of 879. As far as Child (0-6 years) Sex Ratio for the Gudia Khera as per Census, 2011 is 891, higher than Haryana average of 834.

(d) Religious Composition:-

The Hindu religion is predominant in the village. Though few people also have faith in the Sikhism and sect Dera Sacha Sauda but thumping majority of the residents are the Hindus.

(f) The representation of the SC Category:-

The population of Schedule Caste is 652, out of which 340 are males and 312 are females. Schedule Caste (SC) constitutes 16.18 % of total population in Gudia Khera village.

(g) Persons with disabilities:-

In this village, there are 43 persons with different disabilities. Out of which 15 are the head of the households.

(h) Literacy and Education:-

Gudia Khera village has lower literacy rate compared to Haryana. In 2011, literacy rate of Gudia Khera village was 67.40 % compared to 75.55 % of Haryana. In Gudia Khera male literacy rate stands at 80.01 % while female literacy rate was 53.60 %.

This Village is mainly dependent upon the agriculture. The number of persons who earn their livelihood from the agricultural pursuits is 825. The number of persons in Govt.
